• Account & Subscription Data: Name, email address, password, and chosen subscription tier (Monthly or Yearly Premium) handled internally via our Membership Pro plugin.
• Contact & Lesson Requests: Name, email, and message logs sent via our Contact form to organize and schedule private lessons.
• Download Logs: Records of premium files downloaded (including sheet music PDFs, .WAV, and .MP3 audio files) to monitor subscription delivery and protect copyright.
• Technical Sessions: IP address, device type, and system logs processed strictly for website security, reducing performance errors, and blocking unauthorized downloads.

• Performance of a Contract: To manage your user account, process subscriptions, deliver downloadable materials, and coordinate your private guitar tuition.
• Legitimate Interests: To protect our legal rights, secure the website backend, prevent unauthorized file sharing, and respond to your direct support enquiries.

• Payment Gateways (PayPal): All transactions are handled securely off-site by PayPal. PayPal uses necessary data and cookies to authenticate your identity, streamline checkout forms, and prevent transaction fraud. We never see or store your financial details.
• Video Delivery (YouTube): We use YouTube to host and stream our guitar lesson material. YouTube sets cookies to track video views and user engagement.
• Video Tuition (Zoom): When you organize private online lessons, your name and email address are used to schedule and facilitate video calls on Zoom. Zoom operates over its own privacy framework to secure the video transmission.

• Authentication & Status: Tracks your login credentials and active session token so you don't have to re-login on every lesson page.
• Security & Form Protection: Standard validation tokens used to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) on our signup and checkout sheets.
• Anti-Spam Verification (Altcha): Our forms use a self-hosted Altcha widget to block spam. It runs an isolated cryptographic challenge locally inside your browser; it sets no tracking cookies and transfers no user data to third-party servers.
• Consent Management (cookiehint): Stores your anonymous choice preference (accepted or declined) regarding our cookie banner for 1 year so you are not prompted on subsequent page visits.

• Retention: Account information and download logs are stored as long as your membership is active. Contact form requests are kept for the duration of our lesson coaching relationship. Security logs are purged automatically after a maximum of 1 year.
• Your Rights: Under data protection law, you retain the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, or object to its processing.
• Contact: To exercise any of your data rights, please submit a request directly through our secure Contact Us Form. You also have a right to lodge enquiries with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

• Clearing Preferences: You can reset your cookie settings by clearing your web browser's historical cache and cookies.
• Updating Selection: When you refresh the website following a cache clear, the cookie consent panel will naturally reappear, allowing you to establish new tracking preferences.
